Peter Pirhosseinlou musician based in Tehran,he start play music when he was 12 and became a member of different Rock music bands since he was 19 years old. He studied western classical music in Tehran Conservatory at the age of 23.
Skilled in electronic music and being a songwriter, his first solo album was released in 2008. Since then, as a composer and sound artist, he worked in different theaters, contemporary dance groups and with some movie directors. To name a few: Mohamad Aghebati,Abolfazl Safari, Lale Alavi, Abbas Jamali, Gelare Reyhani, Mostafa Shabkhan, Elahe Moonesi, Bita Kharestani, Christoph Krutzler....
Peter is the founder of an art center called House No.4, a studio where young artists meet and work with eachother.
He had also managed 8 independent music festivals and more than twenty open mic’s, he also organised two tributes for legendary singer Farhad Mehrad and is the organiser of one Untitled Event in Sayeh Gallery . As an organiser he tried to bring up a different movment of independent musicians like alternative,electronic,experimental ,Jazz and contemporary in some of previously named events.He had several music workshops in Tehran and the artists who educated in those classes became more successful in their music field.He is also a photographer and had 2 solo exhibitions in Tehran and one in Istanbul at 2011. In 2015 he collaborated with American singer Rooz and Iranian Drummer Alireza Behmaram and recorded an album called Bon Baz.
Right now he is working on different projects: Audio& visual real time live performance with visual and another duet project with saxophone player Praviz Noruzi and also he is a member of indie/electro bands called Emergency Fun.
In April 2017 he had a speech in international contemporary music festival's second day's conference about independent art and experimental music in Tehran
